Maria da Luz Calado, PhD

Maria da Luz Calado holds a PhD in Biology, Microbiology (University of Lisbon, Portugal), and has a long experience in working in Mycology, Ecology and Microbiology scientific areas, and particularly with marine microfungi and terrestrial macrofungi. Currently, she is dedicating her investigation to the isolation and identification of saprobic and endophytic marine fungi from the Portuguese coast, and assessment of their biotechnological potential.
