Strategic Advisor to Global Pharmaceutical Industry

Daniel loves sports, but what truly drives him is his passion for making a positive impact on society, especially in the healthcare sector. With 15 years of experience in the global pharmaceutical industry, his career has been diverse and with roles of increasing responsibility, starting in Research and Development, then moving through Operations, Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Development, and Global Strategy. He currently serves as the Chief of Staff to the President of Novartis’ “Global Health & Sustainability” division, where he has had the opportunity to lead various strategic projects.

Daniel deeply believes in the power of people and communities and has led several initiatives over the years. He is a co-founder of the Alumni group of Biological Engineering, co-founder of the Podcast Cruzamento, teaches courses on Strategy, Pharmaceutical Industry, and Sustainability, and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Portuguese Diaspora, allowing him to continue his journey of ‘giving back’ to Portugal.
