Dr. Susana Ramos

    Susana Ramos has a Master’s degree in Gastronomic Sciences from the University of Sciences and Technologies (UNL) and since 2014 has been responsible for the research and development department at the company Queijos Santiago, which belongs to the dairy industry. She works in the product development and improvement, as a physical-chemical analyst and in the quality assessment. Moreover, she won the Best Student Award whilst performing her Master’s degree in Gastronomic Sciences in 2015 and, one year later, accepted an internship with Chef José Avillez in restaurant Belcanto. Interestingly, Dra. Susana was recently nominated for a Food and Nutrition award in the Development and Investigation category for the production of Greencheese, which are cheese products containing microalgae, in this case Chlorella.
