Isabel Campos Pinto, PhD

Bayer

I am a Post-doc scientist with experience in antibody discovery and antibody engineering currently working in the Bayer Satellite lab, at IBET Lisboa.

I graduated in Biochemistry from University of Lisbon in 2012, completed a MSc degree in Biotechnology from Instituto Superior Técnico in 2014 and in 2019 I achieved a PhD degree from Aston University, with a Marie Curie fellowship.

After completing my PhD, I worked for over a year at a diagnostics company named Mologic (in UK), as Research Scientist, and between April of 2021 and October of 2021 I did a short post-doc at DTU (Denmark), focused on antibody discovery for snake envenoming.

In the end of 2021, I moved back to Lisbon to work at Bayer, in the antibody discovery group, where we use next generation sequencing platforms to improve standard antibody discovery protocols.
