Distiller at The Oxford Artisan Distillery producing The World Best Varietal Vodka, Gin, Whisky, Brandy and Absinthe. He is a consultant in alcoholic beverage production, specialised in wine, beer and spirits and a certified beer sommelier, judging international beer competitions.
Being focused on sensory attributes of these beverages, worked as a winemaker and brewer before taking the Master’s degree in Brewing and Distilling by Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, where he specialised in yeast and bacteria manipulation to achieve desired flavour profiles in drinks. His MSc thesis about wild yeast selection to different whisky production enhanced microorganisms important role in alcoholic beverage production.
