Susana Brás


Susana Brás graduated in Applied Mathematics, from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, and her research work began in 2007, with a PhD entitled “Automation in Veterinary Anaesthesia: Modelling and Control”. She then began to work at the Institute of Electronics and Informatics Engineering of Aveiro (IEETA), University of Aveiro, Portugal, as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where she remained until today. She is working on ECG biometric identification, emotional modulated environments and information extraction from large biomedical databases. Before embracing research, she also worked as an actuary at BPI.
