Diana Oliveira


Diana Oliveira holds an Integrated Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). During her Masters, she specialized in Biomechanics and Biomedical Devices, establishing her research interests in cardiovascular and tissue biomechanics. In addition, she did two internships in Advanced Computing Research at University of Texas at Austin, USA. Currently, Diana is working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Math Department in IST, being involved in projects ranging from the computational modeling of atherosclerosis to the biomechanical influence of diverse medical interventions in the treatment of aortic coarctation or the modeling of different phenotypes of bicuspid aortic valves.
